Quick Tips & Early Warnings
Tip 1: Out-of-Factory Air Patrols
Have air units patrolling straight out of the Air Factory by selecting the AF and holding the 'Shift' key while hitting the 'Patrol' button. After selecting 'Patrol' keep holding the 'Shift' key and select a patrol path for new units. This way your units start patrolling right out of the AF.
Tip 2: Air Defense is a Must!
A good amount of AA units and defences make this mission a whole lot easier.
Tip 3: Upgrade to T2 ASAP!
T2 makes this mission a lot easier as well. Be sure to have enough units to defend yourself with before upgrading, but also be sure to upgrade ASAP!
Mission Objectives
Objective 1: Repair the Research Facility at Lima Foxtrot.
Build up a small base with your ACU and about 10 Engineers. Get some T1 Power, Mass Extractors, and Hydrocarbon Power Plants up and running. Use about half of your Engineers to assist the Land Factory with the construction of units at all times.
Objective 2: Build a Transport.
Build an Air Factory so that you can build a Transport. Be sure to build some Anti-Air escort units(Interceptors, Land AA, ect) for the Transport. Transport a few Engineers to Lima Foxtrot to repair the facilities. I also recommend building a Land Factory at Lima Foxtrot so you can build units to assist in LF's defense.
Objective 3: Defeat All Aeon Patrols.
Just build enough Interceptors and Anti-Air units to continually wipe out all the Aeon patrols.
Objective 4: Defeat Aeon Assault.
Do this by building plenty of T2 defenses around Lima Foxtrot and a some defenses near the main mountain pathways.
Objective 5: Get Units To Luthien Colony(20 Tanks, 14 Anti-Air, and 12 Gunships).
Just move the required number of units to Luthian Colony.
Objective 6: Destroy Aeon Light Radar Installations.
Self-explanitory.
Objective 7: Evacuate Luthien Colony.
Escort a bunch of civilian trucks from the colony to Lima Foxtrot. Best to use Gunships and Transports to take the trucks quickly with Interceptors to protect them.
Objective 8: Defend Lima Foxtrot.
T2 Point Defenses and AA Flak Defenses combined with lots of Gunships make this part easy.
Objective 9: Destroy the Aeon Factories.
T2 Gunships and land units make objectives 9 and 10 easy. Try to draw out their ACU by hammering their Southern defenses with your land units.
Objective 10: Defeat Aeon Commander.
After destroying the factories you can draw out the enemy ACU by continually attacking their Southern defenses. Then use all your T2 Gunships to hammer on the ACU and destroy their factories.
