- 10/17/2007 - Will Forged Alliance actually release in November?
I would love to say "yes" but it is hard to say. After all, look how long it took GPG games to get SC out! On the hopeful side, remember that the hardest part to creating a game is getting the first version of it out. GPG has done that and just needs to build onto the terrific game they have already built.
- 9/6/2007 - Is Supreme Commander a 2D or 3D real-time strategy game?
It is a little bit of both, not quite as 3D as Company of Heroes but not completely 2D like Starcraft. The controls are more like those in a 2D game, but the environment/maps that your structures and units are on feel a little more like 3D. We can call it 2.5D! ;)
- 9/6/2007 - What are the minimum system specifications for Supreme Commander?
The minimum is: 1.8 GHz chip, 512 RAM, 8 GB HD space, 128 MB Video RAM with Direct-X 9 Vertex Shader / Pixel Shader 2.0 Support (Nvidia 6800 or better), sound card, and 56.6 Kbps Internet connection.
The recommended is: 3.0 GHz chip, 1GB RAM, 8 GB HD space, 256 MB Video RAM with Direct-X 9 Vertex Shader / Pixel Shader 2.0 Support (Nvidia 6800 or better), sound card, and DSL/Cable Internet connection.
It can be really hard to play this game with less than the recommended system requirements.
- 9/6/2007 - Will there be an expansion pack?
So far it doesn't look like it because the next game, SC: Forged Alliance, will be a stand-alone sequil to SupCom.
